Free for your first 100,000 spends each month
Solenoid puts limits on what your AI agent does. Before each action, such as sending an email or issuing a refund, your tool calls spend, and that call is one spend. Past a limit you set, Solenoid refuses the spend and your tool gets an error before it acts.

$29 USD a month, with 2M spends included each billing month. Past that, $10 USD per extra million.
What counts as a spend
Only a spend that Solenoid records counts. These are free: a spend Solenoid refuses; a retry that sends the same idempotency key again, which gets back the first receipt; reading your limits and usage; setting or changing a limit; recording what a model call really cost after it finishes, which is called a settle; and recovery emails.
Move to Pro
No account yet? In your project's root, run the command below. It creates your account, prints your admin key and writes a spend key to .env, unless .env already has one. support-bot is an example name, so use one that fits your agent.
npx @solenoid.systems/cli init support-botThen run this. It opens Stripe Checkout in your browser. Your account moves to Pro once Stripe confirms the payment to Solenoid, and from then on the 100,000 cap no longer applies.

Cancel anytime: run npx @solenoid.systems/cli upgrade again, and on Pro it prints a link to the Stripe billing portal, where you cancel. Pro runs to the end of the paid month, with no partial refunds. Overage is billed as used. No GST is charged. Solenoid is sold for business use, so the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.
